A

him our gratitude for his 53 years of tireless contribution

On that occasion, homage

Wesner Emmanuel and Prof.
Jacques Desravines.
In addition, the Board of Directors of Canada took the
opportunity to announce the creation of annual awards
with teachers and students in mind. These were the following:

Laliberté Award: to the Teacher
of the Year who will be recognized for his excellence
in teaching at the Canado-Haitian College and/or the

At
the First General Assembly Reunion - Elmont, NY
(April 25, 2004)
Four of our past teachers honored us with their presence
at the event. They were Prof. Antoine
Chéry, Prof. Roger Jacques,
Prof. Jacques Desravines and Prof.
Marc-Eddy Bellabe. We, in turn,
paid homage to them with special plaques and thanked
them for their priceless contribution to our formation.
They were taken by surprise with all this. Each one
of them, in turn, passionately expressed his own happiness
being there with us on such an occasion. We wish to
re-encounter and share time again with more of these
outstanding gentlemen who saw us develop into responsible
human beings right before their collective eyes. Even
more gratifying, they had something to do with it.
